Review
EasyBCD is a tool to modify Windows Boot loader, designed to aid IT technicians configuring dual or multiple boot profiles for operating systems, its provide the a total control of what happens while loading Windows Vista Boot loader.
Though Windows Vista includes its own boot loader command line utility called BCDedit, as its name says EasyBCD offers a customer friendly user interface, plus backup/ restore functianlity and in case of failure, its diagnostic utility could repair the boot registry.
There are some random issues while performing tasks on some systems, however thats nothing you cannot expect from a freeware application, therefore I recommend you to backup your bcd registry.
EasyBCD also includes its own command line utility, which includes a set of commands that simplify tasks that could take more than one line with Vista BCDedit.
The Bottom line is that EasyBCD allows you to manage your operating system boot process within a unique interface, without having to look for boot files in another windows computer hard drive in case of disaster. |
